Digital Analytics Manager (Data Enablement)

Our client is one of the top independent digital agencies in America. They are seeking a Technical Analytics Manager to join the Research, Analytics + Insights team. The ideal candidate will have a strong web analytics background, is an articulate, technically-minded individual with good business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills.
Act as tagging specialist and analyst, partnering with the Development team for Analytics accounts, tag manager accounts, and other 3rd party analytics tools.
Gather tagging requirements from Web Analytics team, considering key measurements of success for business clients.
Project manage implementation process for analytics tags on websites and apps, based on tagging requirements.
Create tagging specifications based on requirements, while including baseline coverage on all pages and links and complying with clients’ solution designs.
Work with Development and Production teams to sync with their sprints/updates, providing input to product roadmap planning meetings.
UAT analytics tags in pre-production environments and on live sites. Communicate any issues found to the affected teams. Validate reporting data within pre-production and production report suites or databases.
Monitor data quality and flag any issues to the affected teams.
Produce technical solutions and recommendations directly available to key business executives and digital stakeholders for iterative, continuous business growth opportunities.
Manage implementation specialist. Mentor and guide analysts on tools, implementation approaches, and troubleshooting best practices.
Partner with MarTech clients on data governance initiatives, while serving as a liaison between clients and agency teams (Development, Producers, Account, and front-end reporting teams) on technical matters and tool usage.
Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field required; an MBA or Master’s degree is desirable.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Analytics reporting tools, and tag management solutions like Adobe Launch.
5+ years of experience in digital/product analytics at a Fortune 500 company, digital agency, or tech company.
Minimum 2 years in a management position required.
Ability to translate complicated methods and results into plain language, both in speaking and writing.
Solid knowledge of Statistics.
2+ years of experience with web analytics implementation and documentation, including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Salesforce Interaction Studio, or Optimizely and troubleshooting required using debugger tools.
Experience administrating and configuring Analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics.
Experience with tag management systems such as Google Tag Manager, Ensighten, Tealium, Adobe Launch.
Strong communication skills – able to translate technical tasks to a non-technical audience.
Detail oriented, organized, transparent, and reliable.

Keep open lines of communication with all stakeholders.
Automotive industry experience is a plus.
