Our client is a marketing services company that sits at the intersection of TV, web and mobile customer data.  They are looking for a Statistical Analyst to support their Insurance vertical.  The Statistical Analyst would be responsible for the development and optimization of predictive models to improve customer targeting and conversion.

Responsibilities

Develop response, premium, risk and other predictive models using advanced statistical techniques to target the most profitable prospects for direct mail, online and telemarketing campaigns;

Maximize file penetration rate and return of investment through development of new client file strategy, segmentation techniques, and list selection;

Analyze historical customer and marketing data to identify trends and patterns that can be leveraged to optimize the effectiveness of customer engagement strategies;

Develop test designs for marketing programs and test campaign parameters such as insurance premium, coverage amount, response rate and creative to improve marketing efficiency and profitability;

Perform data mining on vast amount of internal and external data attributes and translate them into actionable business decisions and recommendations;

Provide statistical leadership to internal and external partners and formulate decision management plans that include project planning, data collection, data analysis and modeling, implementation and results tracking.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related subjects ; 

Strong analytical skills, superior problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills;

2-3 years of experience in Statistical analysis and modeling using SAS; 

Ability to perform independently.
