Our client currently serves over fifty Fortune 500 companies globally, providing the resources and intellectual bandwidth to drive insight, quality and control to their marketing operations, decision sciences, data management and analytics needs.

They are looking for a senior-level analytics consultant to work with a Fortune 500 technology client that is based in San Francisco. The company is undergoing a complete overhaul of their marketing technology stack. Our client is helping their marketing team deliver higher performing campaigns. This will be a customer-facing leadership role intended to bring strategic thought-leadership and analytical rigor to their campaign managers.

It is an opportunity to make a major impact for a top global tech giant while gaining valuable management experience (overseeing the work of the offshore and onshore teams).

Responsibilities:

Apply their experience and expertise in quantitative data analysis, problem solving, story-telling and the ability to look beyond the numbers and develop deep understanding of how our recommendations impact business objectives.

Have the ability to perform tasks independently, lead analytics delivery teams, and direct the efforts of junior analytics consultants.

Own end-to-end management of analytical modeling projects; ensure quality, accuracy, relevance and consumption of analytical results and recommendations.

Anticipate client’s unarticulated needs and formulate solutions to business issues.

Contribute to new business pilots/proposals and products/solutions development.

Most importantly, the successful candidate will be a team player and collaborator. This role will collaborate across many areas of our business, including service delivery, client engagement, business development, and practice development. The Analytics Consultant will work with our customers in their offices as necessary, helping to design the best processes and approaches for providing critical decision support capability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or equivalent professional experience required.

Extensive professional experience in BI or analytics for a Fortune 500-scale company.

Client-facing experience in managing analytical projects and teams.

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Proven experience in prioritizing and delegating work to meet deadlines, objectives and quality metrics.

Demonstrate knowledge of Marketing Analytics

Expertise in data platforms like SQL Server, Teradata, Redshift, AWS or Azure.

Proficiency with BI platforms like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, MicroStrategy or Qlik

Significant experience in gathering requirements, defining business need, translating BI findings into executive stories etc.

Deep fundamental knowledge of data lake & data warehouse principles.

Understanding of master data management (MDM), customer data platform (CDP), and data quality and governance (DQMS) frameworks.

Strong interpersonal skills and a comfort interacting with clients from the C-suite to marketing managers to technical specialists.

Demonstrate ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, including keeping team to project timelines and expected deliverable quality.
