Our newest client partner is a mission-driven startup (~50 employees at Series A) founded in 2017. They are pioneering an entirely new business model that sits at the intersection of retail and philanthropy. This new retail concept sets a mission to provide funding to improve the lives of children around the world. Our client enables luxury brands the opportunity to transform inventory into measurable impact and consumers to fund important children’s causes simply by buying what they love.
Reporting directly to the VP of Growth, our client partner is looking for a Sr. Analytics Manager who will provide analytical leadership for their growing company across all departments. This person will help measure KPI’s and synthesize all available data from merchandising, marketing, financial and operational departments providing insights to enhance their business strategy.
This is a BIG job for a small company with a great mission and a fast growth trajectory. The Sr. Manager will inherit one open headcount (Sr. Analyst) and will be counted on to develop the function and team from there.
Responsibilities include:
Scope and lead analytics projects of varying sizes (CRO, SEO, acquisition, retention, engagement, etc.)
Prepare, interpret and analyze data from to present insights and recommendations to key stakeholders
Using SQL to write complex queries to develop visualizations and lead deep-dive analyses
Provide tagging strategy recommendations to the engineering team
Track key customer metrics including brand awareness, brand perception, and NPS
Define data requirements and requests for new project launches
Provide ad hoc analysis in support of company initiatives or projects
Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in analytics (web, digital, product), preferably with experience in a startup or small growth company environment
Experience working with databases and ETL concepts (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, MySQL)
Strong SQL skills with some structured programming experience (R or Python)
Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI etc
Experience with A/B Testing Tools and methodologies
