As a Product Owner of Data Management Tools within the Enterprise Data and Engineering Strategy Team, the Solution Strategist will be responsible for stakeholder management, tool roadmap creation and prioritization across lines of business, as well as implementation with IT partners. You will be responsible for aligning the implementation roadmap with business priorities and delivering capabilities to support innovation and analytics functions throughout the enterprise. Product owner is a key role who owns the tool lifecycle starting from the business need assessment, to proof of concept, pilot, production deployment, monitoring, adoption, training, and retirement/evolution of products. Portfolio of tools for Data Management includes data governance, metadata management, and data engineering capabilities on prem and on the cloud.

Responsibilities include:
Manage and prioritize backlog of features to be implemented, define acceptance criteria and metrics for success for tools in the portfolio

Create rubric and functional assessment criteria for vendor platform and tool assessment that aligns to business needs, platform strategy, and data governance and management strategy

Design and implement success metrics for adoption and tracking business value of investments

Create a vision and roadmap for tool portfolio aligning to platform architectures

Establish key milestones for deliverables driven by business needs and priorities

Make recommendations and develop best practices for providing acceleration for new use cases

Define and implement user onboarding and training program

Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, in a proactive manner and make recommendations based on objective criteria

Collaborate and establish communication with business, analytics, and IT stakeholders.

Support vendor management, contracting, legal review, and procurement activities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field required

3+ years in technical program management and/or Certified Product Owner – Agile.

5+ years of Experience with Data Engineering, data Governance, Metadata Management

Preferred Qualifications:
MBA
