This is a unique opportunity to work with the Chief Marketing Officer to build and manage a cutting edge customer acquisition function from the ground up. The scope will include Paid Media (SEM, Display, Digital Video, Broadcast), as well as eCommerce (conversion, optimization, testing, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Partner with senior leadership to understand company mission and translate into customer acquisition objectives.
Create customer acquisition strategies that drive cost efficient scale with an eye toward CLV and marketing ROI. Optimize targeting, creative, media and budget allocation to maximize effectiveness.
Develop and manage onsite marketing programs to convert free and registered users to become paying subscribers.
Own customer acquisition relationship with ad agency and establish relationships directly with advertising partners (e.g., Google, Bing, Facebook, YouTube, Affiliate networks).
Own test agenda for customer acquisition marketing, including price, offer, creative, conversion rate optimization and landing page improvements.
Identify and build internal processes to integrate with necessary tools and platforms. Develop, track, and own all relevant KPI’s.
Qualifications:
Significant experience in a digital customer acquisition marketing environment.
Advanced knowledge of successful customer acquisition strategies, lifecycle marketing, and associated technologies and metrics.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing marketing campaigns with clear ROI focused metrics. Subscription experience a plus.
Expertise in B2C digital marketing, which may include eCommerce, paid media channels, marketing analytics, automation and/or attribution.
Big picture thinker with meticulous attention to detail. Strong analytical skills and metrics-based decision making.
