We are working with a $3B telecommunications company who is shifting their strategy from a consumer-focused business model to a B2B marketplace leader with a technology focus.  Analytics is at the center of this shift, making them a very interesting place to work over the next few years.  Their new VP of Analytics is growing the team and has headcount for a Sr. Consultant who can combine their digital data with their “business data” to uncover insights and make recommendations that will win customers and grow the business.

This is a hands-on data role that will also lead project teams and consult with key stakeholders to drive strategic decisions and continuously improve online touchpoints. Key responsibilities will focus on understanding business objectives, determining key metrics, developing the appropriate measurement plan and delivering insights to key stakeholders through your analysis.

Responsibilities:

Data Collection Strategy

As the Web Analytics implementation evolves you will be responsible for acting as a liaison between Business Owners and the Web Development teams

As they create new websites and add site functionality, you will work with key stakeholders to understand the business objectives in order to develop the appropriate measurement plan and tagging strategy so that Web Developers can tag appropriately.

Visualization, Analysis and Optimization

Utilize various tools (Digital Analytics, Heatmapping, Session Replays and Online Surveys) to come up with holistic analysis and recommendations to improve the online experience, driving more sales (lead generation) and online customer engagement

Lead the analysis to identify opportunities for A/B testing throughout websites including Landing Page and Funnel optimization

Manage the production and distribution of recurring reporting and ad-hoc analysis

Join Web/Digital data to business data to understand customer lifecycle behaviors and the impact on conversion rates, churn and business outcomes.

Translate findings in a clear and concise manner in order present results to executives

Requirements:

Extensive experience in digital analytics

Expert knowledge of Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics tools

Experience developing web measurement plans and leading Adobe Analytics tagging implementations

Experience with User Experience tools like Decibel Insight, iPerceptions, GainSight is a plus

Experience with using SQL to pull/manipulate data from Enterprise Data Warehouses is a plus

Practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills

Ability to identify issues with the data and problem solve

Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills, collaboration skills; great attention to detail

Experience developing collaborative relationships and partnerships with the business and technology departments that drive business results, including the ability to translate between technical and non-technical people

Proven self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment
