Senior Associate, Marketing & Customer Analytics

Our client is a global multichannel retailer with several blue chip brands in their portfolio. They are looking for an analyst to join their Enterprise Analytics Department. This role will create analyses that gives insight and direction to stakeholders across the business.
Designing and performing analyses as a key business partner to internal teams including: product, marketing, ecommerce, C-Suite, regional leadership, etc.
Leveraging multiple sources forms of data to analyze the efficacy of marketing initiatives and create prioritized, actionable recommendations. For many business questions, it will be required to extract the information from the enterprise data-mart using SQL, transform and summarize that information, export and finalize the analysis within Excel then share and communicate the results.
Top performers have opportunities to manage impactful projects driving millions of dollars in incremental sales. Therefore, the candidate must have very strong and confident communication skills where you can present and defend your findings.
Support customer marketing planning and hindsight activities on digital marketing, offers, email, and tests the business runs.
Question the norms and elevate the value or processes behind their work
Produce easy-to-understand, timely deliverables with a focus on web analytics, marketing performance, cross channel, web behavior, and conversion rate optimization
Financial planning and results (budgeting, pro forma calculation of a P&L, incremental sales, profit, flow-thru, transaction estimates)
Identify business growth opportunities based on current digital, customer, and market trends
Manage special projects or serve as a subject matter expert on project teams requiring customer data. Follow special projects through entire project lifecycle with participation in or leadership of planning, executing and closing of these initiatives.
Capacity to manage multiple and competing demands/projects and deliver against aggressive goals.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills including influence and leader engagement
Rigorous attention to detail
High level of analytical and business curiosity
2-5 years professional experience in an analytical role
Significant relational database analysis experience
Significant tech skills, i.e. SQL and either SAS, R or Python experience
Significant experience in digital, marketing or customer analytics
Knowledge of statistical concepts such as regression, significance testing etc.
