IQ Workforce is a leading recruiting firm for the analytics & data science communities. Our client is a top global financial services firm. They recently acquired an online brokerage firm and are building an analytics team to support this new business. They are looking for an analytics manager to lead the charge on turning data into insights.

The analytics manager will lead a team of analysts while also being hands on, delivering insights to improve all facets of business performance: marketing, operations, pricing, etc.

Responsibilities:

Work with multiple business partners to evaluate performance and profitability, define appropriate metrics, research changes in trends, and perform a variety of ad hoc analysis of hot topics

Partner with engineering, data management and reporting teams to ensure appropriate data flows for business needs

Study client behavior and recommend changes to product, process, pricing, and promotions

Direct and mentor analytics team members

Engage with business partners such as marketing, trading, and digital to solve pressing business questions

Maintain an active pulse on emerging practices and technologies

Requirements:

Self-motivated and capable of delivering results with minimal ongoing direction

Significant related technical experience, including data analysis, marketing analytics, or quantitative analysis

Advanced SQL and fluency with analytical technologies (R, Python, SAS)

Strong communication and presentation skills

Ability to work in a dynamic environment with ever-changing priorities

Experience in brokerage or advisory firm is a major plus
