Our mission is to help advertisers reach their audiences in premium content environments across today’s multiscreen consumer experience, at scale, and powered by our proprietary insights, automation and measurement capabilities.
Built on three decades of operating experience in television, Ampersand represents inventory from all major multi-channel TV providers including Charter, Comcast, Cox, DirectTV, DISH, and Verizon, as well as many virtual and over-the-top providers. In total, we reach 85M US households in premium TV content across 150 networks, in all dayparts, in all 210 DMAs, and with unique viewership insights derived from nearly 40M households. We leverage these insights to simplify the ability for an advertiser to plan, target, and measure their traditional and digital television buys. Using our industry-leading platform, advertisers can deliver efficient and effective TV campaigns across all screens and markets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Define value proposition and core positioning to help our product teams clearly communicate new solutions to partners
Build an in-depth understanding of our clients, competitors and position in the marketplace and how the platform fits into the current ecosystem
Own go-to-market strategy and tactical execution of new product releases and launches
Define product and marketing requirements for a portfolio of video products created by the Ampersand team
Work with internal stakeholders (product, sales, business units) to develop product marketing materials, requirements and provide support for the full product suite that serves multiple customers
Through marketing and promotional activities, help monetize the platform
Coordinate with multiple internal and external teams to evaluate, create and market current and future product iterations/releases
Create and/or review requirements docs, project manage marketing activities for the platform, including product and feature rollouts
Drive the evolution of new and innovative product and marketing initiatives to support and improve Ampersand products and business models
Liaison with internal and external constituents to achieve to meet business goals
Work with product development, project management, ops and other key teams to understand all aspects of the platform
Consult and advise on the viability of proposed product marketing initiatives to improve our position in market
Stay current on customer and marketplace insights to align our products and positioning to customers
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
5-7 years experience in product marketing within the adtech or martech space
Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter who deals well with ambiguity
Willingness to roll-up his/her sleeves
Thinks outside the box and not afraid to try something new
Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts and tell a story well
Experience bringing new products, platforms, and processes to market
Critical thinking skills that are a blend of creative and analytical skills
