IQ Workforce is a leading recruiting firm for the analytics community.

Our client is a privately-held investment management firm managing over $100 billion in assets with 3000 employees worldwide.  They recently brought in a new CMO & VP of Analytics and are looking to expand their predictive analytics function.

The VP of Analytics will not have FTE headcount until early next year, so they would like to start by bringing in a full time Predictive Analytics Consultant.  This can be a 6 month+ extendable contract or a contract to perm engagement.

The Predictive Analytics Consultant will play a critical role in driving results in the Marketing Analytics and Technology group.  The Consultant will work across several internal marketing teams to help them achieve their objectives by providing timely analysis to support business decisions. You’ll identify opportunities for complex analysis across multiple areas of Marketing such as prospect acquisition, prospect prioritization, value management, and lead nurturing. This includes gathering and analyzing data to solve complex problems and making predictions on future outcomes and support decision making.

Responsibilities include:

Lead in the development, validation and implementation of propensity models and segmentations to be used across multiple areas of the business

Proactively assist in strategy design to maximize benefits achieved from implementing the predictive models

Lead in the development, documentation, validation, enhancement, and ongoing tracking of propensity models

Interpret and provide solutions to business and systems problems using data analysis, data mining, optimization tools, and machine learning techniques and statistics

Design and deploy data science and technology-based algorithmic solutions to address business opportunities

Partner with external data providers like Acxiom and Experian to refine existing models.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education/experience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or related field, with some experience in data science or marketing analytics preferred

Strong SQL skills to go along with some additional structed programming (R, Python, SAS)

Highly numerate with an excellent understanding of range of data manipulation and analysis techniques, such as data mining and statistical techniques including linear and logistical regression, clustering, segmentation, and propensity modelling

Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to draw conclusions from data and recommend actions

Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt content and detail as appropriate for the intended audience
