Our client is an industry-leading, “Green” company that manufacturers and sells a line of eco-friendly products. They have 25+ years of experience in providing all-natural, plant-based products for industrial, commercial, and consumer applications.
The company has recently made a strong investment in digital & marketing. They are currently looking to hire a Marketing Analytics & Visualization Lead. Reporting to the Head of eCommerce & Digital Marketing, the Analytics Lead will play an integral role in measuring and optimizing the success of the company’s marketing activities, including: eCommerce, digital marketing and traditional sales channels.
The Analytics Lead will leverage their analytical skills to develop dashboards, and ultimately insights that solve business problems and drive profitable, measurable growth. This individual will be skilled in architecting data measurement plans, as well as tagging, tracking and analyzing B2B and B2C digital marketing activities. This role will support the optimization of marketing programs by applying techniques to segment customers, determine LTV and define attribution models. This position will work closely with internal and external resources to drive eCommerce and digital marketing excellence and efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
Architect data measurement plans. Gather business requirements and identify measures, approaches and methodologies for measuring success against objectives.
Work with Marketing leadership to establish KPIs and standard reporting for eCommerce, digital marketing and traditional marketing initiatives. Develop processes and methodologies to automate reporting, where possible.
Conduct a deep dive analysis of the eCommerce business. Provide a holistic summary of performance and takeaways that take into consideration device types, marketing programs, merchandising strategies and promotions. Summarize and present findings.
Create and execute A/B and multivariate tests that drive fundamental improvements to the sites and marketing activities.
Ensure assets are tagged and tracked appropriately to support reporting. Conduct testing and work in collaboration with internal and external resources to troubleshoot technical issues.
Oversee all analytics tools to ensure accurate implementation and appropriate level of exposure, adoption, and utilization.
Analyze and evaluate marketing programs. Identify opportunities to improve performance. Provide rich and actionable insights to support marketing organizational productivity, effectiveness and ROI.
Identify trends and implications effectively. Develop actionable recommendations and communicate them in an easy to digest manner.
Conduct Customer Lifetime Value analyses and define attribution models.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business or quantitative field preferably in Marketing, Business, Finance, Statistics, or quantitative field.
SME experience in an eCommerce, marketing, digital marketing or analyst role
Functional knowledge of omni-channel marketing tactics, such as: paid search, display advertising, email marketing, affiliates and social media
Experience implementing Google Analytics suite of products. Proficient in the use of Google Analytics, both tagging and analysis
Experience with A/B, multivariate and other forms of website, advertising and email optimization testing
Expertise in visualization / business intelligence software
Demonstrated ability to interpret data and make actionable business recommendations
Knowledge of JS/Jquery and SQL preferred
Experience using SEO tools and CRM a plus
