This client has a center of excellence (COE) for Marketing Enablement and Distribution. They support all LOBs globally to help them better understand their markets and the clients they serve. The digital arm of this group provides specific expertise in analyzing digital data for more than 20 applications across a broad spectrum of B2B, B2C, B2E, internal and external site types.
The client is looking to grow this team and add a pair of Lead Managers.
The Lead Manager will act as a digital analytics subject matter expert (SME) and be an active participant in all phases of the “analytical life-cycle”. Lead Managers will be required to work closely with a variety of internal and external business partners. This would include partnering with the business unit leaders to develop a key roadmap of the most pressing problems facing each business unit. The Lead Manager is often involved with business partners before the initiation of analytical efforts, in the conceptualization phase, and acts to understand business goals and objectives and maps them against metrics and measurement capabilities.
Applies expert knowledge of Digital Analytics concepts, tools, and ‘best practice’ techniques for analysis to build and sustain trusted partnerships and relationships across the business and technical functions and external organizations
Interacts with marketers and analysts across all segments to understand problems and opportunities as well as to communicate ideas, strategies, and solutions
Analyzes digital data to evaluate site effectiveness and identify actionable opportunities for optimization
Represents the business needs in further phases of analytical projects identified in conceptualization
Incorporates understanding of the business architecture of the organization being analyzed including the organizational structure and relationships that exist between business units to provide guidance on the project approach, potential solutions to the various projects, and problems and opportunities
Stays abreast of business strategy and needs and technology leveraged by the business channels they support and leverage that information in support of the business. Proactively monitors industry trends
Helps business partners identify and clarify their goals and solution requirements
Communicates business needs with Marketing Leaders and technology to determine alignment between business needs and infrastructure capabilities
Mentors analysts on best practices, marketing analysis tools, industry knowledge
SME experience in digital analytics. Adobe stack experience preferred, but not required
Deep experience developing measurement frameworks relying on data collected from digital platforms
Demonstrated experience in advanced strategic business visioning and planning skills
Demonstrated ability to develop alternative solutions to the most complex problems and recommending the best solution to the business and project teams
Able to manage change and cope with complex and ambiguous situations
Possesses the ability to use effective facilitation skills and techniques to effectively influence with clients at various levels in the organization
Knowledge of Digital Attribution measurement frameworks and experience using vendor solutions
Experience processing digital platform analytics data into multi-channel, client level analysis datasets for the purposes of improving business results and evolving marketing mix
Experience with integration and analysis of offline and online data, using tools such as SQL, R or Python or other scripting tools
Experience using multiple methods and tools to build out digital analytics skillsets amongst peers (facilitate training, author internal blog, etc)
