Our client is a global consumer products company in the luxury cosmetics space. They operate 43 international websites in 23 languages that are core to their digital programs. They are currently seeking a Global Web Manager to help execute the strategy and drive the evolution of these websites.

Reporting to Sr. Director of Global Web, the Web Manager will drive the evolution of the company websites, both on the front-end to create the best possible digital experience for their customers, as well as on the back-end to ensure their teams can efficiently manage 40+ websites in multiple languages. This role will work closely with various disciplines (i.e. eCommerce, content, development, designers, 3rd party vendors) to clearly define business requirements, acceptance criteria and work closely with digital leaders in prioritizing and scoping roadmap items. The Global Web Manager will also collaborate closely with our development team in driving the overall process and execution of roadmap priorities.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy/Roadmap
Evaluate and identify business opportunities to improve the performance of our sites as both a brand building and eCommerce sales tool.

Gather data and seek input from various sources (site analytics, customers, internal global and market teams, competitive space) and crystallize into concrete insights, opportunities, and roadmap enhancements.

Develop and prioritize both short-term and long-term site roadmap, including new functions, bugs, systems or tools. Be able to gauge site objectives, business impact, and effort level to help determine prioritization.

Clearly communicate to global and market teams on roadmap features, and reporting on impact to KPIs post-release.

Monitor advancements in eCommerce and digital space, as well as competitive landscape, for opportunities and new ideas to improve our sites and customer experience.

Product Management
Clearly define user stories, business requirements, acceptance criteria, and critical test cases to drive QA and regression testing.

Develop efficient and effective systems and processes to ensure global scalability, standardization, and maintainability of new features and functionality.

Work closely with Analytics on pre/post analyses of site KPIs and goals, as well as recommended next steps.

Partner with Content and Merchandising on new experiences or site testing to increase visitor engagement.

Project Management
Champion customer and stakeholder needs throughout program execution, ensuring that what is delivered meets the stated goals and objectives.

Work closely with Development to improve the process for output, in defining timelines, quality metrics, and accountability.

Actively identify project risks and mitigation plans; effectively escalate risks to senior leadership.

Some project management of larger roadmap projects and/or vendors.

Manage Global Web Site Coordinator

Qualifications:
4-6 years previous experience in web/mobile or ecommerce (experience managing multi-lingual, multi-national sites a plus).

Proven track record of getting things done and done well as demonstrated by the products you have built or the projects you’ve successfully spearheaded.

Some experience within an Agile environment.

Strong intuitive grasp of customers, with the ability to translate into the site experience.

Effective in extrapolating insights from multiple data sources and focus on solving key problems or achieving key objectives.

Ability to define clear business requirements, data flows, acceptance criteria.

Experience working in a Behavior Driven Development (BDD) environment a plus.

Meticulous/thorough with details and incredibly organized and proactive.

Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and with 3rd parties.

Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy work environment.
