It was purchased in 2014 by the non-profit Lenfest Institute, which was founded by philanthropist Gerry Lenfest to protect and promote the integrity of journalism – specifically local journalism.

General Summary

A visible position in the Revenue Planning & Analysis department which will support key growth and transformation efforts through a holistic approach to digital revenue. The Financial Analyst will work directly with the VP, Revenue Planning & Analysis and various stakeholders in Consumer Marketing and Advertising Sales to identify risks and opportunities on an ongoing basis and synthesize them into action items. In addition, this position will be heavily involved in revenue scenario modeling, subscriber & advertising pricing effectiveness, as well as the development of financial budgets and forecasts for the Consumer Marketing & Advertising Sales division.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Weekly, Monthly Reporting of Revenue Results to budget and prior year

Analyze and present financial impact of business proposals and initiatives

Assist with preparation of operating budgets and reporting variances to budget

Analyze key statistics, reporting financial information to Management

Responsible for ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

Qualifications

BS Degree in Finance or related field

Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to understand the impact of operations on financial results

Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Advanced knowledge of Excel and the ability to work comfortably with other programs in Microsoft Office and G-Suite products.

Oracle experience a plus
