Director of Product Management (attribution & analytics)

NCC Media is jointly owned by three of the nation’s largest cable companies: Comcast, Spectrum, and Cox. They are uniquely capable of providing national, regional and local marketers the ability to reach consumers in premium television programming and in targeted online content on every screen.

They are expanding their product management team to include this newly created role. This director-level product management role will take the lead on developing attribution and reporting for their cutting edge multi-platform (linear, addressable TV & programmatic) advertising campaign platform.

The role will start out as a senior-level hands-on / individual contributor product manager. Over the next 12-24 months they expect to build a small team under the director to expand their analytics products.

Responsibilities:
Develop a deep understanding of agency/marketer customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve the experience.

Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies and brands to envision a unified experience by assembling and linking all transactions and data elements.

Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners and drive product launches working with marketing, executives and other product management members.

Author product requirements and break them down into clear user stories for development and support efficient working of all phases of product development, including sprint planning and retrospectives

Manage entries in product management software (Microsoft Team Foundation Server).

Stay ahead of industry trends and challenges and perform market/competitive analysis to inform product decisions and roadmap.

Analyze product and user analytics and provide key insights for driving innovation.

Requirements:

5+ years of product management experience, as well as experience with Agile or Lean methodologies, software engineering practices, and traditional project management approaches.

Expertise in analytics and development of data / reporting tools that incorporate 1st party and 3rd party data

Understanding of the platforms, concepts, workflows and language inherent to the advertising industry
Superb communication skills

Ability to break down high-level concept/projects into user stories and can talk to all audiences at different levels.

Proven ability to work in partnership with software developers, technical and business management, department heads, product developers and QA teams.
