Marketing at Ampersand is a professional discipline that merges strategy and creativity to solve business problems and drive growth. Oversee all marketing efforts directed at enhancing awareness and appreciation of our brand and at generating engagement with prospective clients, affiliates and partners across our industry (TV, advanced TV and digital media).
Lead all our corporate communications in earned, owned and paid channels, including public relations, social media, websites, publishing (own and external) and trade advertising. Direct our corporate communications agencies and vendors. Build external relationships in these areas and propose new and innovative engagements and partnerships that can help us tell our story better and more cost effectively.
Develop our event & sponsorship plans and lead all our event & sponsorship activations, with particular attention to measurable results and accountable performance and business impact.
Develop and execute a thought leadership plan for Ampersand that ensures the development and distribution of high-quality content that promotes the commercial interests of the company and establishes us as architects of the new TV ecosystem.
Most importantly in 2019, play a central role in developing and launching our new name and Ampersand brand to achieve high levels of awareness and engagement across our industry.
Work with the Head of Marketing, Creative Director and VP Sales Marketing to build and maintain a strong Marketing function at Ampersand.
Work with the Marketing and business leadership teams to ensure that our corporate marketing efforts contribute directly and measurably to the commercial success of the company
7-10 years experience in corporate marketing and communications, with a demonstrated track record of innovation and success
Working relationships built on mutual respect and regard with many of the key influencers, promoters and thought leaders in our industry (TV and digital media)
Expertise and experience in designing, planning and executing effective events and sponsorships in the digital media and TV industry. A “love of the game” and a talent for extending event and sponsorship activations into media.
Deep domain expertise in at least one other area of corporate marketing, be it PR, social, thought leadership, lead generation, analytics or performance measurement.
A four-year degree from a high-quality college or university, liberal arts preferred. Natural curiosity and a drive to learn and stay current. Talent for building and leading high-functioning teams.
