They are searching for a Director, Medical Claims Data Analysis to join the Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will be the point position for developing a new function in the company using the intersection of medical claims and on-site behavior to improve marketing quality.
This position will:
Be the first position dedicated to improving quality of marketing through analysis of HIPPA-compliant combined medical claims and on-line behavior
Design and develop standardized reports and analyses to be distributed throughout the organization to direct efforts to improve marketing
Be the lead position in high profile role to help WebMD stand out from competitors by delivering the highest quality and most effective marketing
Support the development of new data products and increase sales volume through machine learning and predictive analysis
Typical assignments will also include:
Meetings with Senior Management, Marketing, Project management and Product management staff to understand business goals and data sources
Identifying analytical approaches and appropriate data to investigate
Developing and executing analyses, across database (e.g. Vertica), web analytics (e.g. Adobe), spreadsheet (e.g. Excel), and presentation (Tableau) technologies
Presenting findings with action items
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, marketing or quantitative field or 4 years equivalent experience
4+ years analyzing medical claims
Intellectual curiosity
Strong database analysis experience, including authoring code in SQL or comparable language
Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Responsible, accountable and result-driven
