Client Retention Associate

As a Client Retention Associate you will gain a strong foundation in specific industries and tax, in addition to developing your critical thinking skills. You will also learn about our firm’s mission and purpose, the professional services industry, our unique client-centric culture and how we serve and engage our CPA partners, clients and Industry Partners.
In your first year at alliantgroup, you will be exposed to hundreds of Client Engagement scenarios and learn about a wide variety of industries, alliantgroup service lines and business methodologies. You will develop service line-specific and industry-specific skills and work directly with some of our top C-level Executives and CPA firms in various markets as part of a high performance team.
Responsibilities include:
Account management of existing clients
Reaching out to inactive clients and re-engaging
Discussing our services and educating business owners and executives on how we can help them receive credits and incentives
Confident and energetic in scheduling client meetings, conference calls, and follow-up appointments
Ability to (re)close clients
Accountable for tracking proposals and following up with clients until signed proposal is received
Maintain client relationship management database (Salesforce.com).
Qualifications:
College degree required
1+ years’ experience in a fast-paced, consultative sales role preferred
Results-oriented, competitive and driven to achieve activity and revenue goals
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Dynamic verbal communication, strong listening, presentation and writing skills
Collaborative and team focused
