Our client currently serves over fifty Fortune 500 companies globally, providing the resources and intellectual bandwidth to drive insight, quality and control to their marketing operations, decision sciences, data management and analytics needs.

They are looking for an entrepreneurial and highly-motivated Analytics Engagement Director with a heavy focus on business intelligence/business insights and decision sciences. Much of their success has always been based on close, on-site partnering with clients, and the Engagement Director will help manage this relationship with a Fortune 50 client based in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a key contact for all aspects of client engagements within the business intelligence, decision sciences, and analytics practice. Typical engagements include marketing, customer segmentation and targeting, marcom spend and media mix analysis, optimization, price modeling, pricing analysis, competitive analysis, data warehousing, CRM platforms, and business performance reporting.

Strategize with business development, execution and senior management globally to anticipate and identify new opportunities and service areas.

Develop and maintain active, consultative relationships with key stakeholders throughout the engagement portfolio.

Take responsibility for portfolio revenue targets and growth through developing new relationships, as well as identifying new opportunities to match service capabilities with client needs.

Use your subject matter expertise and domain knowledge in business intelligence to design, develop and manage new service capabilities to support client needs.

Manage project proposals, timelines and deliverables for engagements from proposal through implementation in conjunction with the services team.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in client / engagement / account management, consulting services delivery

Extensive experience in business intelligence, analytics, data warehousing or similar areas.

Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills – ability to network and earn client confidence and trust.

Highly motivated, resourceful and adaptable. Must enjoy constantly learning and tackling new challenges.

Strong domain knowledge of areas such as decision sciences and business intelligence, including: business performance reporting, predictive analytics, customer segmentation and profiling, web analytics platforms, CRM platforms, channel and vendor analysis, forecasting, data warehousing, data marts, data mining, competitive pricing and analysis, etc.

Preferred: Strong skills and experiences in analytics platforms (R, SAS, SPSS, etc), visualization platforms (Tableau, PowerBi, Qlik, etc), database and data warehouse (Oracle, SQL, OBIEE), other database support activities, Excel.
