Sr. Director of Product at Ampersand has product line and / or portfolio responsibilities. Their KPIs include shipping products that address market needs, internal and external adoption and P/L of the entire product portfolio. They are responsible for creating business cases with clear understanding of market needs, dependencies, investment needs, risks and contingencies. They are also responsible for clearly articulating the business case, executing on the business case and communicating progress to both internal and external stakeholders. Expected to execute fast and fail faster, Sr. Directors of product at Ampersand act as CEOs of their product portfolio ensuring that their portfolio is continuously generating incremental revenue and addressing the needs of the market effectively. Sometimes, they also have managerial responsibilities which include recruiting and grooming talent and creating a successful career path for their team members.

This role is responsible for “Define and Find” portfolio of products. The Sr Director will be responsible for identifying key data assets needed to define a consumer segment, inputs needed to connect these consumer segments with granular datasets including TV and Digital viewership data and, converting these data assets into scalable and user friendly platforms to support audience driven multiscreen TV planning.

Sr Director will work closely with various client facing teams to understand and define the market needs, prioritize market needs while aligning them with corporate vision, work with engineering teams to convert these market needs into customer facing products and solutions. They are also responsible for working with sales and marketing teams to identify the appropriate GTM strategy for their portfolio of products and solutions.

• At least 7+ years of hands on B2B product management experience shipping scalable platforms and products
• Worked in advanced TV and / or digital video advertising
• Indepth understanding of ad tech and marketing tech eco system
• Experience writing clear business and product requirement documents
• Worked in agile development environments
• They are data savvy and can partner with engineering in definining data specs and partner with data teams to define data quality checks.
Self starter with the ability to drive consensus and execution when dealt with uncertainty.
