Welcome Steve Yount
I wanted to take a moment to introduce a new member of the IQ Workforce team… Steve Yount.
I have known Steve since 2002, when we worked together at Kelly Services. He is one of the smartest, most capable people that I have met in my 20 years in the staffing industry. We are lucky to have him.
Steve is bringing with him two researchers, Patsy Jordan and Chris Newpher. This trio will work with our team to expand our audience into areas that are complementary to web analytics, including customer analytics, BI and data-driven marketing roles in search, display, social and mobile. They will focus on building relationships with both contractors and full-time candidates.
As web analytics matures it is being pulled into the BI /Analytics organization, or into the marketing department. Steve’s team will give IQ Workforce a strong presence in both worlds.
Steve will be working with me in our new Long Beach, NY office. We just took an office on the boardwalk with a sick view of the ocean. Working together every day will help get Steve’s team up to cruising altitude quickly. I am also hoping to improve my surfing skills and make use of the ocean kayak that I just bought. So if future blog posts are sent from a hospital bed you will know why.
