Untraceable Movie Trailer
Untraceable is the not-so-new movie by Sony Pictures that is kind-of / sort-of web analytics / web marketing related. The premise is that a mass murderer puts up a website with webcam video of a person being killed by some elaborate machine that injects a little bit of poisen with each new hit that the web site gets. In other words, the more hits the site gets, the faster he dies. The website is www.killwithme.com.Â
Needless to say the site is a hit! Victims are dropping like flies and just the cybercrimes unit of the FBI, headed by Diane Lane (actress’ name - not the character) tries to catch this “untraceable” killer while he infiltrates her professional and personal life in some very cyber-scary ways. Â
The Web Analytics Wednesday group out in San Francisco is going to see the film together next week, so it is sort of officially an industry film.
